Home News RINA university talks

Throughout the autumn, The Royal Institution of Naval Architects runs welcome talks at Universities for students studying Marine Architecture and Marine Engineering related programs. These are a mixture of face-to-face visits and online talks. Our visits are to meet new students joining their program, alongside existing students and those close to graduation.

The RINA welcome talks are to give prospective new members an oversight of how RINA is supporting the next generation of engineers, a brief history of the Institution, and providing an overview of different career paths into Naval Architecture.

Student membership of RINA is free for those studying an undergraduate program, and Associate-Membership is free for those studying a Masters or PhD program.

If you are studying or work at a University, and would like to arrange a RINA welcome talk, please contact membership@rina.org.uk
