The Golden Shield Excellence Awards recognise organisations who have earned national or international prominence in the marine, energy, cargo, oil & gas and offshore industries.

A notable highlight of London International Shipping Week in September was the IMC Golden Shield Excellence Awards, held at London’s Insurance on 13th September, where the Royal Institution of Naval Architects was thrilled to receive the Maritime Professional Society Award. Business Development Director, Jesicca Murphy, and Dmitriy Ponkratov, Technical Director, accepted the accolade on behalf of RINA.

RINA CEO, Chris Boyd, comments: “I am deeply honoured to receive the Maritime Professional Society Award from the International Maritime Club. It’s a tribute to all our colleagues and staff who work tirelessly and make significant contributions towards supporting not only our membership but the maritime community.”
