Armach’s hull cleaning robots

Following a successful trial period of demonstrating hull cleaning robots with several commercial shipping operators, US-based Armach has announced the official commercial launch of EverClean, a new robotic hull cleaning service. The hull service robot navigates its way over the hull intelligently, and, like geo-referencing, maps the hull condition to its appropriate on-hull location.

According to Armach, “This ensures the cleaning of each section of the hull without accidental repeat, giving EverClean a competitive advantage, and ship owners and operators a proven, cost-effective way to ensure a clean hull at all times, with the addition of an accurate hull condition survey after each clean.”

With the EverClean program, autonomous robots navigate the hull, removing unwanted microfouling. While cleaning, data is collected, interpreted and communicated back to the Armach for processing. Then data-driven analytics deliver actionable hull state intelligence reports for the period of the service.
