Significant Ships & Significant Small Ships of 2016

In February 2017, The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) will publish Significant Ships of 2016 and Significant Small Ships of 2016.

Significant Ships and Significant Small Ships are quality annual publications providing an invaluable reference source to some of the very best in today's ship design and construction delivered by ship and boatyards worldwide. Each vessel presentation comprises of a full page, with colour photograph, a detailed technical description, the main particulars in tabular form and a list of major suppliers.

Significant Ships gives technical details of approximately 50 selected merchant ships of all classes and types, mostly of some 100m in length and above. Significant Small Ships covers approximately 30 new vessels including – fast ferries and passenger vessels, tugs and workboats, fishing, and offshore patrol etc. This mixed but fascinating selection of small craft, all between 15m and 100m in length, will be hand-picked by the same editorial team that produces Ship & Boat International, RINA’s own leading small craft publication.
