Produced for an unspecified client in South East Asia, Feadship’s latest motoryacht launch, Letani, has managed to achieve speeds in excess of 20knots on her sea trials.
The twin-screw vessel measures 34.65m in overall length and 7.9m in overall breadth, and has a draught of 1.8m when fully loaded – a value, Feadship says, that will aid the vessel in “exploring various parts of the world that are often out of reach to larger superyachts”. Exterior styling was handled by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, with Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design overseeing the interior design alongside Christian Liaigre – the latter of whom provided Letani’s furniture. Exterior features include a straight bow and aluminium hull.
Letani is powered by twin MTU 16V2000M83 engines, each rated 1,340kW at 2,400rpm, and the yacht has been fitted with Quantum QC-1200 P3 stabilisers to provide necessary counter-roll force. When not travelling flat out, the yacht can enjoy a cruise speed of 12knots and a range of 3,200nm at 10knots. Onboard capacities include 25,400litres of fuel and 5,800litres of fresh water.
The lounge and dining room are divided by a ‘TV nook’, featuring a large-screen TV mounted on a swivelling bracket, which can be viewed from the saloon area, and the yacht has been fitted with large and full-sized windows for added onboard ambience. The owner can access an individual state room, featuring bathroom and shower facilities, while four guests are able to occupy two convertible state rooms on the lower deck. Up to six crew members, meanwhile, can rest up in three cabins; the crew mess and galley are located on the main deck. Letani can also carry a 6.5m tender.
