Publications
All members get a print and digital copy of The Naval Architect and Warship Technology included in their membership. In addition to this:

Designations
As a RINA member, you’re entitled to use designation titles after your name e.g AMRINA, FRINA. As part of your lifelong learning, a professional designation is a ‘stamp of approval’ that a person can earn from an organisation, demonstrating to employers and their clients that the person has achieved a particular standard of excellence in their field of work.

Professional Registration
RINA is a nominated and licensed body of the Engineering Council. On becoming a Member (MRINA) or Fellow (FRINA), you are entitled to apply for Professional Registration on the path or Chartered Engineer. Find out more here.
CPD Support
Attendance at the RINA conferences and courses qualifies as Continuing Professional Development. On completion of the course, a CPD certificate will be issued. The Institution also supports you with the recording and guidance for recording your CPD. Find out more here.

A one-stop shop for journals, published and unpublished papers, reports, videos and technical presentations. You’ll also have access to our catalogue of Technical Papers and the chance to view rare and historic books in The Denny Library at Institution HQ by booking an appointment. Find out more.

Member discount on additional services
Croner also provides additional client services for when you need further support. Such as; bespoke contracts and handbooks, case managed advice, staff management software, tribunal support, bespoke H&S documentation, and Employment Law and Health & Safety insurance. As a member, you would be entitled to a 15% discount on additional client services.
