Associates (sometimes referred to in other professional bodies as an Affiliate Members) is for those who are involved or interested in the design, construction and maintenance of marine vessels and structures in a non-technical capacity.
Individuals with a general interest in maritime design or engineering who are working in a non-technical role can also apply.

Designation
As a RINA Associate, you’re entitled to use the AssocRINA designation. It’s a great shorthand that shows your connection to the industry and commitment to collaboration.
Membership Requirements
Anyone with an interest in the profession can become an Associate. However, we suggest you look through our other membership grades before applying, as there may be a grade more suited to your qualifications, background and experience.
