Naval Architectural Services (NAS)

NAS Limited is a Malta based firm offering specialised services to the shipping, offshore and yachting industry throughout the Mediterranean region in three distinct areas: Design, Survey and Consultancy.

The company has successfully delivered design, refit, survey and certification related consultancy services to an array of projects undertaken by its repeat clients and is considered as one of the main naval architectural and survey bureaus in the region.

NAS operates within a fully audited and certified an ISO 9001:2015 environment.

Driven by a mad attention to detail and functionality in design, the team at NAS considers its relationship with the end users and contractors engaged as key. The company uses state of the art technology to add value to its designs including but not limited to CFD and motion solvers, CAD/CAM and ship construction modellers, stability software, the rest is achieved by the enduring enthusiasm and passion put in every project undertaken.

Having also developed a solid expertise in the marine regulatory sector led to NAS being appointed to act on behalf of various reputable Flag Administrations and Classification Societies including the Government of Malta. NAS also specialises in commercial surveys including H&M and P&I, pre-purchase, condition and valuation and cargo surveys. Other core consultancy services delivered include project management, yard supervisory works, weight estimations/management and intact and damage stability evaluations.
