Feature Article Contributor (Volunteer)

THE NAVAL ARCHITECT is looking for volunteers from across the range of our members to write for themselves or be interviewed by our managing editor for a feature in the RINA suite of media outlets. The Naval Architect magazine is undergoing a number of changes. A significant number of members expressed the desire to contribute to the publication and to understand what areas of work our members are doing in their fields.

As a result, we will be introducing a regular feature where the members of the Institution can showcase their work and the advances in Naval Architecture.

We are looking across the entire range of our members from Individual Members to Sole Traders and Corporate Partners. We will also be introducing opportunities for videos and podcasts to be included on our social media outlets.

What you will do:

• Write or be interviewed for an article or series of articles covering the work you are doing.

• If you are writing it yourself, provide the Managing Editor with the copy in an agreed format by an agreed deadline.

• If possible supply High Resolution images to support the article.

What do you need for this role:

• Enthusiasm

• Good interpersonal skills

• Access to a PC/laptop
