The Department of Transport is involved in all aspects of the mobility and access of people and goods into, out of and within Ireland and assists the Government and Ministers to develop policies for Ireland’s transport system.

The Marine Survey Office (MSO) is a division within the Department of Transport and is the regulatory authority for maritime transport safety. Its role is to ensure the implementation of the relevant national and international legislation.

The MSO currently has the following vacancies at its locations in Dublin, Cork and Ballyshannon Co. Donegal.

• Engineer and Ship Surveyor
• Nautical Surveyor
• Naval Architect
