Global Divisions & Branches
The Royal Institution of Naval Architects has Divisions, Branches and Sections across the world. These groups provide members with opportunities to network, exchange views, learn and socialise.
Members are automatically elected a member of their national Division, local Branch or local Section (where applicable) and kept informed of the latest events. Many of these events are also open to non-members.
Each Division is managed by a Council, elected by members of that Division, which represent the Institution on all national matters. Branches and Sections within a Division are accountable to their Division Council.
Branches and Sections are in turn managed by their own Committee, elected from and by the members of that Branch. Some of these are organised in partnership with other professional institutions and they may hold joint meetings.
