The presentation will provide an overview of the Statutory Fire Safety Regulations in the following :

a) SOLAS Chapter II-2, FSS and FTP code

b) Relevant Instruments (IMO Resolutions and Circulars; IACS Unified Interpretations and Requirements)

c) Flag Administration requirements

d) LR MTNs, PACs, MSPM,

The objective of the presentation is to make attendees aware of the importance of fire safety regulations enabling them to understand the principles of fire hazard management and methods of fire prevention.
