RINA’s IMO Committee is tasked by the RINA Council with contributing the collective expertise of the Institution to the work of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
It is authorised to act and speak on behalf of the Institution in accordance with Council policies on all matters relating to the Institution’s work and responsibilities as a Non-Governmental Organisation with Consultative Status at the IMO.
Through our IMO Naval Architectural Group, the Institution represents the views of the organisation as well as the members of the global naval architecture community.
Join the IMO Committee
Committee participation is a benefit of RINA membership. Each meeting provides an opportunity to learn from your peers and help drive industry thought leadership.
Have your say
The IMO committee welcomes all members to raise and discuss matters relating to the committee’s work, areas of interest and responsibilities.
Naval architects have a responsibility to advance the art and science of ship, boat and yacht design. We are only limited by our imagination.
