The 10.7m catamaran 'Just 1 More' was built using CNC-cut structural components

Shipbuilders BRIX Marine and Ashbreez Boatworks have launched the latest in their jointly developed Resurrection series of recreational vessels, christened Just 1 More. Measuring 10.7m in length and 4m in beam, the aluminium catamaran was constructed using CNC-cut structural components, and, despite its camo-style paint job, is designed as a cruiser for sports fishing and shrimping expeditions.

Just 1 More features a full-beam cabin, an L-shaped galley and two forward berths. Dual boarding doors are located on her port and starboard sides, for easy passenger access. The boat is powered by twin Yamaha XTO outboards, each rated 425hp (317kW), which yield “a top speed in the 40s [knots]”, BRIX Marine tells Ship & Boat International. The supply package also includes Yamaha’s Helm Master EX steering and joystick control system.

The catamaran can store up to 200 US gallons (757litres) of fuel. BRIX Marine adds: “Depending on the type of trip, the boat can sleep six persons…if being used for fishing on a day outing, it can take eight to 10 persons.” Onboard kit includes: a Garmin navcomms suite, with dual 16” screens; a FLIR night vision camera; a Quick Gyro MC2/X10 gyrostabiliser; and a 5kW Northern Lights genset.

Just 1 More was completed in December 2023 and concluded its sea trials in April this year, with BRIX having assembled the bare hull at its Washington yard before handover to Alaska-based Ashbreez Boatworks. Chad Morse, Ashbreez owner and founder, comments: “This catamaran is the second vessel of its type in two years and our collaboration with BRIX is invaluable…we have been collaborating since 2015 and we look forward to future builds.”
