Pearl Yachts has chosen this week’s boot Düsseldorf expo to unveil its new Pearl 63 model, in advance of its April launch. Described as a refined version of Pearl Yachts’ previous Pearl 62 series, the GRP-built Pearl 63 features a new aft cockpit arrangement, with opening side balconies for extra space, two high-low dining tables and an L-shaped sofa, the backrest of which can be flipped to create a lounge with a sea view.
The Pearl 63 features an overall length of 18.6m, a breadth of 5.2m, a draught of 1.59m and a displacement of 36.5tonnes, and offers the choice of either a tender garage – with the space to accommodate a Williams 285 jet tender or a Seadoo Spark jet ski – or a crew cabin. The yacht also offers accommodation for up to eight guests, spread across four cabins, plus a full-beam master suite with panoramic hull windows.
The interior design has been provided by Kelly Hoppen CBE, and allows the owner to pick from four options, entitled ‘Indulgence’, ‘Luxury’, ‘Modern’ and ‘Monochrome’. The exterior, arranged by Dixon Yacht Design, includes wide side decks leading to the foredeck lounge and a flybridge with a hard-top, sunbathing spots, a wet bar and a barbecue area.
Hoppen comments: “We focused on elevating the living and dining experience by optimising the available space. A key innovation is a custom-designed, fitted seating area in the saloon. This unique solution incorporates two additional dining stools that seamlessly transition between the saloon and dining areas, creating a more generous and fluid living space.”
The boat’s standard engine set-up comprises two Volvo Penta IPS 1050 units, though owners can upgrade to IPS 1200 or IPS 1350 types for more power and performance, if desired. Pearl Yachts estimates that a twin-IPS 1350 configuration will permit a top speed of 33knots. The Pearl 63 can store up to 2,750litres of fuel, enabling a range of 260nm at cruising speed, and 800litres of water.
Pearl Yachts has also announced that it is expanding its global dealership network, with the introduction of new divisions for Germany, France and the UAE.
