Members of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects are invited to submit nominations from any grade and location for election to the Institution’s Council.

Council members play an important role in shaping the future direction of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. They represent the perspectives of the global membership, support the development of the Institution’s activities, and help ensure that the Institution continues to fulfil its Charter as a leading international learned society.

Council members contribute their expertise, participate in four Council meetings per year and committees where appropriate, and support the work of the Institution through constructive engagement and professional leadership.

Members of Council may also be invited to serve on the Board of Trustees.
